At PRINTING United 2026, we showcased a direct mail solution designed for flexible production of high-quality, four-color mailings.
The workflow takes you from the printed roll to the cut and folded …end product:
The Dynamic Processor DP8 handles dynamic perforating and creasing in both cross and vertical direction, with optional punching. The Web Folder WF8 folds in the paper web and registers it superimposed, while the Cutter CS8 performs cross-web chip-out.
During production, the compact Web Inspection WI8 system uses CIS technology to monitor color, register, codings, variable data and more — providing 100% quality control.
For final processing, the HEIDELBERG folder with single delivery provides flexible finishing.

The WI8 checks the entire web width during production, detecting print defects and jet-outs while monitoring ink density, color deviation and registration. It also verifies variable data page by page instead of relying on samples.
