New Unwinder UW8-C from Hunkeler AG
Hunkeler AG is introducing the new Unwinder UW8-C, which has been specially developed to meet the needs and requirements of inserter manufacturers and perfectly matches their production requirements.
At the Hunkeler Innovationdays, Daniel Erni, CEO of Hunkeler AG, symbolically handed over a model of the UW8-C to the CEO of Kern Group, Stefan Wüthrich. As a leading supplier of inserting and packaging systems, Kern AG is entering into a partnership with Hunkeler AG and will use the new Unwinder on its inserter machines in the future.
The unwinder processes a maximum paper web width of 20.5 inches and is therefore ideal for inserter manufacturers. The compact unit fits very well into production environments where space is limited. It is based on the proven Gen8 Unwinder, of which hundreds are already in use. The combination of compact design and proven technology results in a very good price-performance ratio.
