Thanks to the Hunkeler Turn Unit TU8, the production line fits into the available space
The Turn Unit TU8 is a walk-on system for easy expansion of the layout and can be adapted to almost all different space conditions. The modular design with turn bar and deflection rollers allows the web to be guided and deflected 90 degrees to the right or left and allows for the web to exit face up or face down. Thanks to the various installation variants such as L, U, Z configurations and other customer-specific installations, the system is flexible for a variety of configurations.
The special air cushion around the turning bar ensures low paper web friction and guarantees smooth transport that is gentle on inks and surfaces. Thanks to the large diameter, swelling is prevented.
The air supply is provided by an independent compressed air system (TU-A) with its own electrical connection and main switch. Due to the modular expandable paper web underpass UP, the paper web is completely protected and still easy accessible.
